The Historica holds a wide range of collections about history and folk culture of Taiwan, including antique contracts, stone rubbings and folk artifacts. These objects related to Taiwan Indigenous peoples, Han Chinese, Japanese etc range from the early 17th century to the present.


Antique contracts reflect exchanges of land, houses and property between Taiwan Indigenous peoples and Han Chinese, approx. 19,424 items.


Stone rubbings demonstrate the history of regimes, political and religious activities, boundary defining, architectural plans and evil expelling, approx. 2,970 items.


Folk artifacts represent all aspects of ethnic groups’ life and art work in Taiwan, such as farming, diet, clothing, residence, transportation, belief, religion, entertainment, folk crafts, approx. 16,284 items.
